Narita International Airport (NRT) is one of two Tokyo's airports. It handles mostly international air traffic and is the arrival point of most foreign visitors.

Located in the city of Narita in Chiba Prefecture, about 60 km outside of Tokyo, it consists of two terminal buildings connected by both train and bus. Foreign airlines operate out of either terminal, with Japanese carriers ANA and JAL operating out of terminals 1 and 2, respectively.

The airport serves as the main international hub of Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways. It also serves as a hub for Northwest Airlines. It handles the majority of international passenger traffic to and from Japan, and is also a major connecting point for air traffic between Asia and the Americas

Tokyo - Driving Directions

There are three routes that can be used by car to Narita Airport.

· The Higashi Kanto Expressway to the Shin-Kuko Expressway,

get off at the Shin-Kuko Expressway and enter the airport through Gate 1 or Gate 2.

· Route 295 and enter the airport through Gate 2.

· Route 296 to either the Yokaichiba - Sakura road or the Narita - Matsuo road

and enter the airport through Gate 6. (Airport South)

To arrive at Narita Airport by train, use the JR or Keisei line.

Buses & Taxis to Narita Airport set down in front of the departure lobbies of both passenger terminals.

Buses and taxis from the airport to various destinations leave from the arrival level on the first floor.
