There are nine parking lots including covered and outdoor car parks, their capacity is 9000 parking spaces. Covered parking spaces are avalible close to the terminal in parking lot P6. Short term parking spaces are in P8 and P9 parking lots. Medium term stay car parks are located nearby in lots P10 and P5. Long term car parks are located nearby in P1 and P2 parking lots wich are close to terminal, as well as in P3, P7 and in separate budget facility, Cheques Parking. The new terminal, called mp2, is exclusively for budget airlines and their passengers. Costing €16.8m, the new terminal is located at the airport's former cargo terminal, which has been adapted with a view to running the terminal as cheaply as possible. Services will be kept to a minimum. For instance, passengers will have to carry their bags to the scanners themselves and then walk across the tarmac to their waiting planes. There are no walkways or buses. The result is greatly reduced costs and thereby also reduced airport taxes (five times less than for the airport's main terminal). This has made the terminal attractive to a number of low-cost airlines, including Ryanair, easyJet and Virgin Express.
