The centre of Milan is about 50 kilometers far from Malpensa airport. Milan can be reached by car, by train or by bus.
Between the two Terminals of Malpensa, a free shuttle bus is available every 20 minutes about for twenty-four hours a day.
Taxis are available at the Arrivals of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The fee to the centre of Milan is about € 70.
You can reach Milan directly from the Terminal 1 by Ferrovie Nord Milano trains, or, via Gallarate, by Trenitalia trains.
MALPENSA EXPRESS (Ferrovie Nord Milano Trains)
Malpensa Express trains connect the Terminal 1 of Malpensa directly with the centre of Milan (Cadorna Railway Station - connection with the Tube red and green lines).Trains also stop at Busto Arsizio, Saronno and Milano Bovisa. Trains depart every 30 minutes and the journey from the Terminal 1 of Malpensa to Cadorna Station lasts about 40 minutes.
You can reach Milan by Trenitalia trains departing from Gallarate. A bus service is available from the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Malpensa to Gallarate Railway Station.
About 9,000 car parking spaces are available at Malpensa airport.
In every period of the year you can choose your favourite parking according with your need (just a few minutes' stay, a couple of days, some weeks).

SALA AMICA'S ASSISTANCE FOR DEPARTING TRAVELLERS
Passengers with special needs are welcomed in the airport by Sala Amica's staff who assist them with the baggage check-in and the security screening. Then, the same staff accompany the disabled passengers to the gate where a special bus equipped with wheelchair lifts (it is called ambulift) may be used for boarding operations.
If travellers like shopping, they can be taken into the airport retail outlets and restaurants before boarding.
SALA AMICA'S ASSISTANCE FOR ARRIVING TRAVELLERS
The airline company must inform Malpensa or Linate airport about the arrival of passengers requiring special assistance. Sala Amica's staff will be waiting for the travellers with special needs and will accompany them to the passport control, the baggage claim and the exit till they leave the airport area.
