Air-conditioned Luxury Coach service is available from the counter of Punjab Tourism, in the Arrival Hall at Terminal II. This coach ply between Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminal - II) and Amritsar via Karnal, Ambala, Rajpura, Ludhiana, and Jullandhar.
Affordable paid coach services are also available from the area outside the Arrival Visitors Hall of Terminal II for Inter State Bus Terminus round the clock as per the following schedule.
Airports Authority of India in coordination with Delhi Traffic Police is providing 'Prepaid Taxi Service' for arriving passengers at Domestic and International Terminals to ensure safe travel up to their destination. Approved rate of fare for various locations in the city are displayed inside the counter (Reproduced below). Prepaid taxi counters are located outside customs hall in concessionaire area and outside Arrival Visitors Lounge (West Wing). Payment is made in advance at counters and coupons are issued. Please make sure, you collect the coupon and hand it over to the at the destination while alighting. Pickup points are located just outside the terminals.
Note: The fare has been fixed @ Rs.13 for first kilometer, Rs.7 for subsequent kilometers (maximum limit of each zone), Taxi drivers have been given 10% incentive as the taxi drivers return back to the Airport without any passenger.
Baggage Charge: Rs. 10/- per piece except for shopping bags or a small attaché case.
Night Charge: 25% extra of the fare from 11.00 PM to 05.00 AM
Service Charge: Rs. 10/- per trip as Service charge for manning the pre-paid booth as not funded by the Govt.
Waiting Charge: Rs. 20/- per hour or part thereof (subject to minimum of 15 minutes stay)
Car Parking area is provided at Terminal 1A, 1B & 2. There are two car parks at the International Terminal. i.e. Premium Car Park & General Car Park. Premium Car Park is also provided outside Terminal 1B.

General Car Park: Rs. 50/- (for 4 hours)
Premium Car Park: Rs. 100/- (for 4 hours)
Service Tax Extra
The same amount is added for every additional 4 hours

Car Parking Area - Terminal II
Airports Authority of India provides a free coach between Terminal II and Car Parking area from 5 PM to 10 AM every 15 minutes
Airports Authority of India provides free air-conditioned 'Airport Transfer Coach' service round the clock for transit passengers to commute between International and Domestic terminals, through the airside. Passenger can contact the airline Facilitation Counter inside Domestic Arrival Hall / outside Customs area at International Arrivals to avail the facility.

Every hour from both Terminal IB and Terminal II.
Indian Airlines also provide free coach service for their connecting passengers. Indian Airlines facilitation counters are available for assistance at Domestic Arrival Hall and outside Customs Hall in the concessionaire area at the International Terminal.
Airport Transfer Shuttle - Departure Timings (IST):
Facilitation counters are located in Departure Hall and inside Customs Hall near belts. Passengers can contact these counters for any type of information. Facilitation counter inside Customs Hall is also manned by staff of Airlines, Tourist Dept. along with the staff of Airports Authority of India.
Airport Manager (Airports Authority of India) Office
Airport Manager Office is located at each terminal for the assistance of passengers round the clock. This office coordinates among the various agencies to ensure smooth flow at the airport. For any assistance required by physically challenged, senior citizen, sick passengers, unaccompanied minors, lost and found property, complaints/ suggestions, this office can be contacted.

Procedure to avail the facility
Contact Airport Manager of respective terminal for allotment (round the clock). Transit passenger with confirmed Airline ticket for onward journey within 24 hour are allotted one bed per person in retiring rooms and dormitory. Not more than two passengers are allowed in two-bedded room. If a passenger has been allotted bed in room with more than one bed, it will be subject to other passengers joining him at any time for which he can have no objection. Children below 12 year can stay with the occupant without extra charges. Beds are allotted subject to availability on first come first served basis and no prior booking is accepted
If you are staying for a short while and do not require all of your belongings, you may use the Left Luggage facility located in the premium Car Park Area at Terminal II and general car park opposite Terminal IB.

Those who wish to get their baggage properly packed before check-in can utilise this service near x-ray machines at departure level, Terminal II at a cost of Rs. 100/- per bag. Please make sure that you collect a money receipt for the service.
For the privacy of mothers who wish to nurse their infants, a well-equipped Infant Lobby with toys, baby cot and a female attendant is available, in every terminal.
Banks are located at various convenient locations. Exchange currency from these authorized banks only and obtain official receipts. Thomas Cook counters are also available for money exchange. ATM of ICICI Bank is also available at Terminal 1A and Arrival Visitors Area of Terminal II
Railway Reservation Counter is located outside the Custom Hall (Terminal II). Arriving passengers can book their railway tickets from this counter. Timings 8 am to 8 pm. (25653775)
Postal facility is available in each terminal. At Terminal II, Post Office is located in the Departure Hall. The services offered at this counter are Telegrams, fax, STD calls, sale of Postal Stamps, Post cards, Registered Letter, Speed Posts etc. International Departure passengers can use this facility before approaching for immigration check. Free medical facilities are available at the airport. Contact the Airlines you are travelling or the Airport Manager, Airports Authority of India in case of requirement.
You can spend your spare time here shopping, visiting snacks bars, and watching TV. Keep an eye on the flight Information Display Board and proceed for the Security Check.
If you want to do a bit of shopping, there are Duty free shops offering handicrafts, garments, electronic goods and alcohol in the Transit hall. Payment is accepted in foreign currency only.
Reserved Lounges are provided in each terminal for the listed dignitaries. This facility is strictly as per the entitlement list circulated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, displayed prominently in each lounge. At International Terminal, Reserved Lounges are located at the following locations.
a) Arrival - East Wing after immigration check.
b) Departure - Opposite Airport Manager Office.
Ceremonial Lounge
Airports Authority of India has provided exclusive Lounges for the handling of VVIP movements through IGI Airport. Ceremonial lounges are located at Terminal II and Terminal 1B. Entitlement is strictly as per list circulated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Lounges
Indian Airlines and Air Sahara have provided exclusive lounges for their club class passengers in Terminal 1A and Terminal 1B respectively. Air India's Maharaja Lounge is located in transit area at Terminal II. Apart from exclusive airline, lounges managed by leading five star hotels are available in transit area, Terminal II.
Terminal 1 halls A and B house executive lounges with business facilities.The Maharaja Lounge is at the transit area of Terminal 2.The Centaur Hotel has full facilities and is located near Terminal 2.
