Cologne has an excellent motorway network and the city is encircled by a closed motorway ring. The airport was designed as a drive-in airport and a motorway spur runs right up to the terminal buildings, which links Cologne directly with the German motorway network and Europe. Hwy-A59 leads directly to the airport.
Taxi - Taxis are available at the taxi rank outside Terminals 1 and 2.
Bus - Airport shuttles are available to/from Cologne and Bonn from outside the terminal buildings. There is also a service to Dusseldorf central station from Terminal 2.
Rail - There are S-Bahn trains that run from the airport railway station located between Terminals 1 and 2, to Cologne Hauptbahnhof and other destinations in the city.

Maximum height for passenger cars is 1.95 m. Oversized vehicles can be parked on Car Park “Nord“.
Using a credit card to park
Customers using the multi-storey car parks and the Car Park "Nord" can also use a credit card (American Express, Diners, Mastercard, Visa) to enter or leave. The machine at the exit barrier will print a receipt for the parking charge after return of the credit card.

SHOPPING: Duty-free shops are located in both terminals Departures and in Terminal 1 Arrivals. There are various other shops found in both Terminals, including a supermarket and delicatessen in Terminal 2 Arrivals.
FOOD&DRINKS: There are restaurants; bars; fast-food outlets; snack bars; and cafes situated in both terminals, in the Departures and Arrivals areas. The buffet-bars located in Terminal 2 Arrivals and Departures are open 24 hours a day.

We recommend you to request any assistance and/or airport wheelchair required on your arrival at Cologne Bonn Airport when making your flight reservation, either with your airline or with Cologne Bonn Airport Company.
Parking spaces for the disabled are located in car park P1 (upper level), multi-storey car park P2 (level 4 / sector A) and in multi-storey car park P3 (level 1 / sector A).
Disabled persones holding an official parking permit for the disabled are allowed to park their car free of charge provided they show their parking permit. Please present your parking permit at the cash point when driving out of the car park in question. Cash point location:

The elevator for wheelchair users is located in Terminal 1 between entrances B and C. All public phones within the airport buliding are accessible for wheelchair users. WCs for the disabled are located on the arrivals level near stairway 2 ("Aufgang 2") in area "B" and near stairway 5 ("Aufgang 5") in area "C".
