Taxis wait outside of the terminal, It costs approximatelly NOK 250,- to reach centre of Bergen, if travelling in rush hour time price will go up on aproxiomatelly NOK 300,- .Most of the taxi drivers in Bergen speak English. If you are travelling somwhere else than the centre of Bergen, a taxi can be a smart choice. You can ask the driver to tell you about Bergen, places to visit, etc. Most of the taxis are modern high class cars, like Mercedes and Volvo.
AIRPORT BUS:
The best way to reach centre of Bergen is to use airport bus service. To the airport: leaving from Radisson SAS Royal Hotel at Bryggen, via Radisson SAS Hotel Norge and the bus station (platform 17) to the airport and return (the same way). Travel time is approximatelly 25 minutes at off-peak period. Adults pay NOK 72,- and children NOK 36,-. Check schedule at Tourist information desk.
