Construction Update

Construction continues as the Economy Lot A and Lot B are being combined into one Economy Lot. This is scheduled to be done in November 2006. Until that time, to assist you in finding available parking spaces, please follow the lime green directional signs.

: : Park and Wait Lot : :

Park and Wait Lot

The new Park and Wait Lot is an area where drivers wait in their vehicles, free of charge, while passengers deplane, pick up luggage and walk out to the curb for pickup. The lot is located on your right as you enter the airport, south of Terminal One. Once ready, there is an exit from the lot back onto the terminal roadway for easy pickup. Then proceed to the pickup lanes on your left.

The lot offers an alternative to circling the terminals or parking in the short term parking lot. This free lot includes 100 newly-paved parking spaces, along with three large electronic flight information signs displaying flight arrival information. Once the flight has arrived and time allowed for luggage pickup, the sign displays a message, "ready for pickup." The driver may then proceed to the terminal curb pickup on the left.

Pickup for Delta flights is in front of Terminal Two (Pickup spots 5-8). All other airlines' pickup is in front of Terminal One (Pickup spots 1-4).

Drivers must stay with their vehicles. There is no parking or waiting allowed in front of the terminal buildings.

The airport's restaurants can accommodate the needs of people with disabilities. Most of them have wide aisles, counters low enough for wheelchair access, and ample dining space. Those that do not are currently being upgraded. In the meantime, please ask food service personnel for assistance.

Gift Shops

Air Terminal Gifts and HMS Host operate retail shops that have been designed or remodeled to be able to serve all segments of the population. You should have no trouble selecting and paying for items. If you do, the staff is readily available to help.

First Aid

Airport Police can handle minor first aid needs. On-airport paramedics are on 24-hour standby. Either can be summoned by dialing (801) 575-2405 or 2400 on a white paging phone.
