Bremen Airport can be reached directly from the main railway station and the `ZOB´ (central coach station) by tram no. 6 which stops just 22 metres from the airline check-in desks. At peak times the tram runs every 10 minutes. A single ticket costs € 1.95. The journey time from the main railway station / central coach station takes about 17 minutes.

A taxi from the main railway station to the airport costs about € 10. It takes approx. 20 minutes, depending on the traffic.

Bremen airport has two modern multi-storey car parks located just a few metres from the terminal. Car park I has 2,550 spaces and car park II has about 1,900 spaces.
Please note: the budget holiday parking tariff only applies in car park II.
Both car parks are fitted with a modern electronic sign system to guide you. If you follow the green arrow you will be guided to the nearest free parking space.
A number of the parking spaces on the ground floor of both car parks are reserved for women.
You will find parking spaces for the disabled on the third floor of car park I and on the ground floor of car park II.
Parking fees for both car parks can be paid either at the machines provided or at the cash desk in the terminal. Both car parks are open 24 hours. For further information about parking, contact the staff of the car park cash desk (tel.: 0421 - 55 95 294). Parking is subject to the Car Park Regulations (Car Park Parking Conditions) which are open to inspection at the car park cash desk in terminal 2.
Motorists with over-sized vehicles (e.g. motorhomes) cannot enter the multi-storey car parks (max. height 2m) but can use the outside car park P3 on the same terms.
There are a limited number of short-stay parking spaces in front of the terminal (€ 0.50 / 20 minutes). In car park I inexpensive short-stay parking spaces are also available (€ 1.10 per hour).

When you book a holday flight from Bremen Airport, you will be given a HOLIDAY PARKING TICKET on request.
On departure you must park your car in Car Park II ("Parkhaus 2").
When you drive into the multi-storey car park make sure you retain the parking ticket that opens the barrier.
You can pay either before or after your journey - just hand in this ticket together with your Holiday Parking Ticket at the car park cash desk in terminal 2 where you will also receive your car park exit ticket.
The pavillon of the car rental companies is located on the east side of multi-storey car park I. All six car rental companies have their fleets parked on the ground floor of car park I.
The Airport Information Service will do its best to answer all your questions. The information desk in the arrival terminal is open from 06:00 h to 23:00 h.

So that our smaller guests can start their holiday right at the airport we have opened a KIDS Lounge with various toys, a cot and a Babycare room with nappy-changing facilities.
The Lounge is located on the ground floor of Terminal 1, to the right of the check-in desks. Use of the Lounge is free of charge. In addition, you will find a Babycare room in the foreign flights waiting room in Terminal 1 and another in the baggage reclaim hall of Terminal 2.
Children's baggage at Hapag-Lloyd
The Hapag-Lloyd airline offers its passengers with babies and young children a child's free baggage allowance of 20 kg.
You will find baggage trolleys in and in front of the Terminal as well as on the individual floors in the Car Parks. These trolleys are available to you free of charge.
Baggage Lockers
Baggage lockers are to be found in the entrance area of Car Park 1. Depending on the size of the item of baggage, they cost between € 1.00 and € 2.00 for 24 hours.

The terminals at Bremen Airport with their new “interior” have a lot to offer should you have time to spare before and after your flight.
The company HDS Retail GmbH from Wiesbaden runs two shops at Bremen Airport. One of these is the traditional airport shop selling travel accessories, souvenirs, tobacco products and sweets, ice cream, cosmetic products and perfumes. You can also hand in your lottery and football pools coupons here. The other is a bookshop which naturally has an extensive range of national and international newspapers and magazines, literature and travel books. Both shops are on the ground floor of terminal 1.
HDS has plenty of experience in the retail trade at airports and railway stations. A subsidiary company of the French media mogul, Hachette, HDS runs a chain called “Relay” which has a flourishing shop at Frankfurt Airport and which opened the railway station bookshop “Relay” in Delmenhorst last year.
hairport is the name Margret Klonschinski has given her hairdressing salon which is in terminal 1 of Bremen Airport. The hairdressing team has its first salon in Bassum and it was almost on the day of its 30th business anniversary that they opened the airport salon.

Getting to the airport
If you come to the airport by car, you will find the parking spaces for the disabled on the 3rd floor of Car Park 1, near the lifts. The crossing between the Car Park and the Terminal is at ground level. In Car Park 2, the parking spaces for the disabled are on the ground floor. The normal parking charges apply, also for users of the Holiday Parking Ticket. However, this holiday parking ticket is only valid for Car Park 2. In the Terminal
The doors to the new Terminal open and close automatically. After you have checked-in on the ground floor, an escalator next to the stairs or the lift will take you up to the waiting lounges on the first floor. If your aircraft is already docked onto the passenger bridges, you can enter the aircraft without any obstructions. If a bus transfer to the aircraft is necessary, you can use the lifts for the disabled in the waiting lounges (Terminals 1 + 3). Flughafen Bremen GmbH has a special minibus for the disabled.
Visiting the restaurant
You can easily reach the new airport restaurant in Terminal 2 (above Arrivals) by escalator or lift. The restaurant also has a toilet for the disabled.

You can reach the Visitors' Terrace with the lift.
