AED has been installed in Fukuoka Airport passenger terminal buildings.
AED is an abbreviation of Automated ExternalDefibrillator, a medical device that treats ventricular fibrillation caused with cardiac arrest by electroshocking the heart. It has become available to the public since 1st July, 2004.
The installed AED device explains how to use it with easy-to-follow audio assist including cardiac massage and artificial breathing.
FOOD&DRINKS: The airport is equipped with numerous restaurants and cafe's in International terminal aswell as in Domestic terminals.
SHOPPING: There are many different shops both in Domestic terminals and International terminal. There are also Duty Free shops in International terminal.

The door opens and closes automatically by pushing a button (although some toilets' doors are manual). Wide entrances make it easier for users to enter and exit. The toilets are equipped with grab bars and the sinks are installed in a low position.
Audio assist is available in toilets for wheelchair users of 1st floor of Domestic Terminals and 1st & 3rd Floors of International Terminal.

Public telephones with a lowered cabinet accessible to wheelchair users are installed throughout the terminals.

[Elevators]
Each terminal has elevators for wheelchair users. The control panel is installed in a lower position. There are also acoustic signals and Braille signed panel.
[Tactile Guide Paths ]
Tactile guide paths are laid along the main passages inside the airport. Also, the floor is designed to lessen barriers.
[Domestic and International Terminals Shuttle Bus]
If you travel between the Domestic Terminal and International Terminal, please use our shuttle bus (which is free of charge and low-floored) which runs every 7-10 mins. It connects each terminal in approximately 10 mins.
Please ask the driver for assistance when passengers in wheelchairs ascend or descend the bus.
