Suvarnabhumi Airport, (BKK), also known as (New) Bangkok International Airport, is the international airport serving Southeast Asia and Bangkok, Thailand.
It is main hub for Thai Airways International, Bangkok Airways, Orient Thai Airlines, PBair and Thai AirAsia, and is located in Racha Thewa in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan Province, about 25 km east of downtown Bangkok.
Suvarnabhumi is one of the busiest airports in Asia and is also a major air cargo hub.
A modern motorway connects the airport, Bangkok, and the heavily industrial Eastern Seaboard of Thailand, where most of the manufacturing for export takes place.
Bangkok Public Transportation Centre and Car Rental Centre are linked to the Passenger Terminal Building 24 Hours and Free of Charge Express.
AoT has expressed itsconcerns on Transportation services by setting up Public Transportationcenter as a business unitto autonomously and effectively manage the transportation system and to avoid chronic traffic problems (which exists at Donmuang Airport) at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

1st Floor / Level 1 : Arrival Lobby for Group Tours & Airline Crew Pick Up. (Airline Offices)
2nd Floor / Level 2 : Arrival Hall, Arrival Passport Control & Customs, Baggage Claim, Transport & Hotel Counters and Transfer Counters. (Arrival/Boarding Gates & Transfer Counters.)
5th Floor / Level 5 : Star Alliance Airline Offices.
6th Floor / Level 6 : Restaurants.
7th Floor / Level 7 : Observation Deck.
Money: Banks, Bureaux de Change and ATMs are located throughout the terminals.
Religion: There is a Muslim prayer room.
Eating & Drinking: You can choose between a Thai Restaurant, Chinese, Japanese and a Western Restaurant. There are fast-food outlets and a Food Court and snack machines. Bars are located in the International Terminals.
Shopping: Souvenir shops, Florist, Handcraft stores, a convenience store, a shop selling fruit products, a supermarket and a chemist are located in the terminals. Duty Free Shopping is available in the Departures of Terminal 1 and 2.
The Business Centre in the airport offers meeting and conference rooms and provide telephone, fax and computers. The Amari Airport Hotel (tel: (0)2 566 1020) offers a 24-hour business centre, banqueting and conference facilities, and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 people. .Internet access is available in the CIP Business Lounges and in Terminals 1 and 2.
