Thanks to numerous rail and bus links, you can get to and from Stuttgart Airport quickly and easily. Take S-Bahn S2 or S3 from Stuttgart Central Station to the airport. You will arrive at level 1 of Terminal 1 without changing trains.
Journey time between Stuttgart Central Station and Stuttgart Airport is 27 minutes. From 04:55 weekdays (or 5:25 Sundays and holidays) to 0:25 S-Bahn trains run from Central Station every 10 or 20 minutes (weekend 30 minutes).
Trains run from the airport to Central Station between 5:08 (or 5:48 Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) and 0:08.

VIP LOUNGES:Special features of our large conference room in the GAT is its semi-circular form and location. Owing to its good vantage point, our conference room provides you with a unique view of the Stuttgart Airport. Only the traffic controllers, who work in a tower directly across from our conference room, enjoy a comparable view.
The architect designed the building to resemble an airplane. With the semi-circular shape of the top section of the building, the architect attempted to make the conference room appear like a cockpit.
The large conference room can accommodate up to 40 guests and is outfitted with modern multi-media equipment such as overhead projectors and video players.
The small conference room, with its modern and comfortable furnishings, is decorated like a VIP lounge. Its easy-going atmosphere makes it suitable for just relaxing or holding meetings. For small groups of up to 10 persons, the small conference room is the ideal place for discussions, conferences and meetings.

Before you go
Please inform your travel agent or airline of your special needs in advance. They will tell you about all the services available. Your airline will then make all necessary arrangements and organize the required services at the airport. Meeters of disabled passengers can pick up their guests or family members straight from the baggage carousel. Just use the service telephone at the exit to the right of the arrival area (level 2) and ask the Customs staff to let you through.

by S-Bahn
The S-Bahn station at the Airport meets the needs of wheelchair users and the blind. Elevators and ticket machines are also appropriate for wheelchair users. On your way from the S-Bahn level to the departure levels of the Terminals a change of elevators is necessary. The Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart (VVS) offers a layout displaying all S-Bahn stations provided with facilities for passengers with special needs, please dial: 0711/ 194 49. The layout is free of charge. You can also get information on timetables and train changes there.
by train
Travelers by train can change to the S-Bahn serving the airport at Stuttgart Central Station (numbers S2 or S3). The local Bahnhofsmission (Railway Station Mission) will be pleased to assist you, please dial: 0711/ 29 29 95. Passengers planning to travel by train after departure at the airport will find appropriate train and S-Bahn tickets at the Travel Service Center of Deutsche Bahn AG from Monday to Friday (intermediate level above S-Bahn). Shuttle services and paramedics
Shuttle services, the staff of AGS Boarding Support (phone: 0711/ 9 48 40 00) and paramedics are available to take you from the terminal to the aircraft or back to the baggage claim area. Please make arrangements in advance by informing your airline or your travel agent at the time of booking.

We offer airport WLAN to our customers to provide wireless access to the World Wide Webflughafeneigene Wireless-LAN. The transfer rate is quite impressive: up to 11 Mbit/s. So you won´t have to worry about load times using our WLAN.
